All Of The Lily Plant Is Toxic And Poisonous ☠️ 🐈 To Cats I’ve Had Lily Plants For A Long Time Just Like My Cats, So To Have Gotten Away With This For So Many Years Is Lucky To Say To Say The Least, I Also Always Removed The Pollen Bits From The Stem As I Thought Only Those Parts Were Poisonous. I Was Ill Informed As I Learned Today That All Parts Of This Plant Are Infact Very Dangerous For Cats To Be Exposed To. My Youngest Fur Baby Mckenna Started To Become Very Sick I Never Seen Him Eat The Plant But He Was Sitting In It And Trying To Play With It Today After That I Removed It And Put It Away Up High And A Few Hours Later He Was Not Well At All. I Managed To Get Him To The Vets Who Said He Needed To Put On Iv Drips Over Night And The Whole Thing Was Gonna Cost Just Under 2 Grand… I Broke Down In Tears As I Just Don’t Have That Kind Of Cash Spare There Was No Option To Pay Up Over A Longer Period Of Time So As You Can Imagine I Was In Absolute Bits. So The Vet A Kind Young Chap Called Liam Said He Could Put Him On A Drip For A Few Hours Then I Could Collect Mckenna Later And Keep Him Overnight With Me And Bring Him Back In The Morning For Blood Tests Etc And That Would Cost A Lot Less So It Was Really The Only Option I Had. He Called Me Just As I Was Going To Collect My Boy To Ask For My Consent For The Vet To Actually Take Him Home To Keep Giving Fluids Overnight And Take Care Of Him, He Said He Just Wanted The Wee Guy To Be Ok And Didn’t Mind Taking Him Home On His Own Time To Do That To Ensure He Got The Best Possible Care 😭😭❤️🫀 I Expressed My Gratitude 🙏🏼 And Thanked Him So Much For Doing This My Heart Is Sore But It’s Also So Grateful That This Very Kind Soul Has Went Over And Above To Help Our Wee Family Member. Everything In Life Is A Reflection I’m Still Processing All Of This But From My Neighbour Helping Me With A Cat Box Because I Loaned My One Last Week Thanks Lorraine 🫀🫶🙏🏼 To Just The Level Of Support That Seems To Just Be There When I Need It Most Is Simply Just A Very Beautiful Thing To Have. I Am Super Grateful And I Trust That Mckenna Will Bounce Back From This And He Will Be Home Where He Belongs This Time Tomorrow. None Of This Is Happening To Me, Its Happening For Me The Only Thing I Have Is How I Choose To Handle This.
