Ezekiel Bread Tutorial I love that God gave his people this recipe so they wouldn’t starve during a time of exile & punishment. Please read Ezekiel 4:9 and the parts before & after as well. For the record I didn’t cook the bread over dung 🤣. Ezekiel Bread (makes 2 loaves) Ingredients: * 2 ½ cups wheat berries
1 ½ cups spelt or barley
½ cup millet
¼ cup lentils
¼ cup great northern beans or navy beans * 2 tablespoons adzuki or kidney beans * 2 tablespoons green split peas * 4 cups warm water * ½ cup honey (optional for taste) * ½ cup olive oil * 2 teaspoons sea salt * 2 tablespoons active dry yeast Note: “Fitches” is believed to refer to either spelt or black cumin, depending on the translation. Most Ezekiel bread recipes use spelt or a mix of ancient grains for consistency. Instructions: 1. Grind all grains and legumes into flour using a grain mill or high-powered blender. (If you don’t have access to whole grains, use pre-ground whole grain flours.) 2. In a large bowl, mix the flours together. 3. In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water with honey. Let it sit for 10 minutes until foamy. 4. Add oil and salt to the yeast mixture, then combine with the flour mix. 5. Stir until a dough forms. Knead for about 10 minutes until elastic. 6. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size. 7. Punch down the dough and divide into two greased loaf pans. 8. Let rise again for 30-45 minutes. 9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35-40 minutes 10. Cool before slicing #ezekiel #bible #homemade #completeprotein #nutrimill

I’ve been wanting to make Ezekiel bread for a while now. In Ezekiel 4:9, God gives a list of specific grains to be used for nourishment. After healing my gut by baking with freshly milled wheat, I knew this biblical recipe would be a beautiful next step. You can blend the grains yourself (see recipe for Ezekiel mix below) , or do what I did and use the Ezekiel mix from Bread Beckers. It’s convenient because it’s pre-measured, portioned out and ready to mill. One bag makes one recipe. What makes this bread so special is that it’s not just rich in fiber and nutrients, it’s actually a complete protein. The combination of grains and legumes, just as God instructed, provides all nine essential amino acids. When you mill those grains fresh, you unlock even more of the nutrition your body needs to thrive. This is ancient wisdom and I’m so excited to bring it to life in my kitchen. Ezekiel Mix recipe: * Hard red wheat berries 2 1/2 cups * Spelt wheat berries (or rye) 1 1/2 cups * Hulled barley 1/2 cup * Millet 1/4 cup * Lentils (green preferred) 1/4 cup * Dried great northern beans 2 tablespoons * Dried kidney beans (or red beans) 2 tablespoons * Dried pinto beans 2 tablespoons@NutriMill

Food is meant to be simple, whole, and nourishing! In the Bible bread represents life, nourishment, and God’s daily provision for His people🌾 This Ezekiel bread is made with 8 different grains and legumes mentioned throughout Scripture like wheat, barley, spelt, and millet which are incredibly nutrient dense and supports digestion and steady energy🍞 We’re still learning how to make bread made with freshly milled flour but overall we were very happy with how these loaves turned out! Homemade Ezekiel Bread Recipe: Ingredients for the flour blend: -2 1/2 cups hard wheat berries (or whole wheat flour) -1 1/2 cups spelt berries (or spelt flour) -1/2 cup hulled barley -1/4 cup millet -1/4 cup dry green or brown lentils -2 tbsp each: dried great northern beans, kidney beans, and chickpeas (or another bean variety) For the dough: -4–4 1/2 cups of the flour blend -1 tbsp active dry yeast -1 3/4 cups warm water -2 tbsp honey -2 tbsp olive oil -1-2 tsp salt Instructions: 1. Combine all grains, lentils, and beans and grind into flour using a grain mill. Store any extra flour for later. 2. If using active dry yeast, mix it with a little warm water and honey and let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy. 3. In a large bowl, combine 4–4 1/2 cups of the flour blend with salt. Add water, honey, olive oil, and yeast mixture. 4. Mix until a sticky dough forms, then knead for about 6min in a stand mixer. 5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour. 6. Shape into 1–2 loaves and let rise another 30 minutes. 7. Bake at 350°F for about 35–50 minutes, depending on loaf size and flour texture, until golden brown and hollow sounding when you tap it. 8. Let cool completely before slicing. Enjoy! #homemadebread #ezekielbread #biblicaldiet #holistichealth

Did you know Bread is a spiritual symbol? Bread is important in Scripture because it represents life, provision, dependence on God, covenant, and ultimately Christ Himself. ✨ Some key passages>> Exodus 16:4 (Manna) “I will rain bread from heaven for you.” Bread is shown as direct provision from God, not something humans control. Proverbs 30:8 “…give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread.” Bread = contentment and dependence on God. Deuteronomy 8:3 “Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.” Bread matters—but God’s word sustains life even more. Jesus repeats this in Matthew 4:4 (showing its lasting importance.) Psalm 41:9 “Even my close friend, someone I trusted, one who shared my bread, has turned against me.” Sharing bread symbolized trust, friendship, and covenant. Acts 2:42 “They devoted themselves… to the breaking of bread.” Bread becomes part of community, worship, and remembrance. John 6:35 “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry.” John 6:51 “I am the living bread that came down from heaven.” Jesus fulfills everything bread symbolized—life, provision, salvation. Luke 22:19 “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” Bread becomes a sacred sign of Christ’s sacrifice. ❤️✝️🙏🏽✨ In Scripture, bread represents -Physical life and survival -God’s daily provision -Dependence and humility -Fellowship and covenant -Jesus Christ as the source of eternal life Now every time you eat bread remember your lord and savior who gave his life for you 🥹💕🙏🏽 #sourdough #christiantiktok #militarytok #fyp #tiktokmom
