According to user @authenticteecee2.0: “This Lady Claims To Have THE BEST SEAFOOD BOILS in NEW ORELANS?!!🥹.. (imma see) @hotgirltrapseafood Well, y’all seen the video, so the explanation is pretty self-explanatory. What I will do, though, is tell you everything that was in the pan and list it in order from my favorite to my least favorite, (nothing was nasty) and I’ll rate each one as well. Overall, just so we have a general and genuine consensus, the pan is definitely a 10 out of 10. Am I saying it’s the best seafood you’ve ever had in New Orleans? No, I’m not, because that wouldn’t be accurate—I haven’t had every seafood option that’s ever been offered. What I can do is compare individual items to seafood I’ve had in New Orleans before, and as a pan overall, it’s a 10 out of 10. I’ve had seafood prepared the same way in New Orleans, and this pan was definitely better. Now, in order from favorite to least favorite: Top favorite: Snow crab. The snow crab was seasoned to perfection all the way through the meat. The seafood boil flavor was there—you could eat it without butter at all. 10 out of 10. Next: Turkey necks. The turkey necks had that flavor. It’s a certain seasoning that I can’t quite put my finger on—I don’t know if it’s bay leaf or something else—but certain turkey necks have that vibe, and I love it. They were tender, everything they were supposed to be, and they were big and slouchy too. I love that. 10 out of 10. Next: Lobster. Just like the crab legs, it was seasoned throughout. It was a little tough, but I don’t know if that was because I had to reheat it, so I can’t really discredit it for that. When I say tough, I genuinely just mean a little in texture. Still, 9 out of 10. Next: Corn, potatoes, and broccoli. The corn was cooked exactly how I like my corn—perfect. I’m not really big on the potatoes in a seafood boil, but I’ll take them out and make mashed potatoes because I’m a big back. As for the broccoli, it was seasoned. Next: Shrimp. The shrimp could’ve had more seasoning throughout the meat. I’ve definitely had shrimp where the seafood boil seasoning was more prominent inside, but the flavor on the outside was good. 8/10 And lastly, I really enjoyed meeting the business owner of Trap Seafood. The seafood was busting. Let’s definitely hang on Mardi Gras, just like we planned. If you plan on linking, let me know, bro—I’m gonna bring you a cut of the water this time, because yes, she did send me home with two cut waters… and yes, I did cut both of them. 😭😂”. According to user @eatingwithcaitt: “Seafood boil loading……🦀🦞🦐🍤”.
